50 Cent on J. Cole's Kendrick Lamar apology: Call my phone now

J. Cole's public apologies for dissing Kendrick Lamar prompted 50 Cent to urge him to phone him.

Last Friday (April 5), the North Carolina rapper dropped his fourth mixtape, ‘Might Delete Later’, surprising fans.

On the closing track ‘7 Minute Drill’, Cole criticised Kendrick Lamar for his verse on ‘Like That’ from Future and Metro Boomin's ‘We Don't Trust You’.

Cole dubbed him, Lamar, and Drake “the big three” of current rap on ‘First Person Shooter’.

On ‘Like That’, Lamar countered, “Motherfuck the big three, n****, it’s just big me.”

Cole responded on ‘7 Minute Drill’: “I got a phone call, they say that somebody dissing / You want some attention, it come with extensions.”

Cole said, "I'm hesitant, I love my brother, but I'm not gonna lie / I'm powered up for real, that shit would feel like swattin' a fly.

Four albums in twelve years,   I can divide / Shit, if you want violence, I'll indulge.
