Godzilla X Kong The New Empire Box Office Collection Day 13: MonsterVerse Film Stomps Its Way To Rs 78 Crore In India

Adam Wingard's latest film, Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire, continues to dominate the box office, demonstrating incredible success.   

As the latest addition to the MonsterVerse, this film is the 38th in the Godzilla franchise and the 13th in the King Kong series. It debuted on March 29 with remarkable results, earning Rs 13.25 crore on its first day.   

Its popularity remained high during its first ten days in theaters, and by the beginning of its second week, the picture had grossed more than Rs 70 crore in India.  

Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire did well in its first 12 days at the box office, earning an estimated Rs 76.28 crore India net. Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire made around Rs 1.32 crore in India net on its twelfth day across all languages.  

This takes the total collection for the MonsterVerse film in India to Rs 77.6 crore. The film grossed Rs 57.75 crore in its first week.

On Wednesday, April 10, Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire had an overall English occupancy rate of 17.48 percent. Morning shows had 14.53 percent footfall, while afternoon shows had 15.04 percent occupancy.   

In Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire, Kong embarks on a trip into the Hollow Earth, where he meets other members of his kind. They forge an alliance with Godzilla to combat their despotic king and the mighty Skar King, who desires to dominate and disrupt the surface world.   

The cast comprises Rebecca Hall, Brian Tyree Henry, Dan Stevens, Kaylee Hottle, Alex Ferns, and Fala Chen, with Hall, Henry, and Hottle repeating their roles from the previous film.
