Gwen Stefani discusses the rumors of Blake Shelton's divorce and her work with No Doubt after becoming a mother.

Despite reports that she and her spouse Blake Shelton are divorcing, Gwen Stefani is still very much "in love".

The lead singer of No Doubt put an end to any rumors of a potential breakup in an interview with Nylon that was published on Tuesday.

The 54-year-old Stefani admitted, "The truth is, I am in love with my best friend."

The singer did acknowledge that "overthinking" and insecurities still influence her, though.

"In my own relationship, even though I know the truth of what's happening today, you still create drama in your own mind about your insecurities and what might happen," she told the news organization.

Positively, that emotion did lead to the duo's most recent duet, "Purple Irises."

"I had been experiencing those moments when you wonder, 'Oh my gosh, am I simply becoming older? Am I cute? "asked the woman.

"I was in that phase of the relationship with Blake and getting paranoid."
