Kevin Costner's Western Epic 'Horizon' Sets Its Cannes Film Festival Premiere

The first episode of Kevin Costner's Western epic "Horizon, an American Saga" will premiere out of competition at the Cannes Film Festival.

Costner helmed the four-part project, in which he also stars alongside Sienna Miller, Sam Worthington, and Jena Malone. 

On May 19, the actor from "Yellowstone" and "Dances With Wolves" will be on the Croisette to present the film.

"Horizon" will be released in theaters in two parts, with the first on June 28 and the second on August 16.

"I'd like to thank the Festival de Cannes for including my film 'Horizon, an American Saga' in this year's selection," the actor stated in a statement. 

"It's been 20 years since I had the pleasure of being on the Croisette."

" I've been waiting for the appropriate time to return, and I'm pleased to announce that that time has arrived. 

Horizon, an American Saga' is a story that began 35 years ago, and I can't think of a better place than Cannes to share the culmination of such a magnificent experience.
