Reasons why Yassine Cheuko, who is Lionel Messi's bodyguard, will not play against Monterrey

According to reports, Lionel Messi's bodyguard Yassine Cheuko will not be allowed to enter the Estadio BBVA during Inter Miami's 2024 Concacaf Champions Cup match against Monterrey.

Inter Miami will face Monterrey in the 2024 Concacaf Champions Cup second leg tonight, and Lionel Messi is anticipated to start for the Maracanas.

Even though the other seasoned stars will be counting on the Argentine star to salvage the series, it appears that he will not be accompanied by his bodyguard on the sidelines.

Reports from Monterrey-based Argentine writer Santiago Fourcade claim that the eight-time Ballon d'Or winner has been informed that Yassine Cheuko would not be permitted to enter the Estadio BBVA playing field.

He supposedly has limited access to the mixed zone press area and the locker room.

From the moment Leo stepped foot in Miami, Cheuko became Messi's personal bodyguard and has been the center of attention ever since.

Fans of Lionel Messi are accustomed to seeing the giant escorting the 36-year-old to each and every game to ensure the safety of his client.

Unfortunately, it appears that Cheuko will have to keep her distance tonight.
